“I found out through our phone calls that my two CASA kids and their caregiver and her two other young children were all sharing a single broken iPad. It was a struggle just to get access to online school assignments, much less complete them! J told me the hardest part was the loneliness, because she and her brother couldn’t study at the same time. I contacted the school, but was told they weren’t issuing devices. However, thanks to Foster Angels, I was able to remote drop their two personal laptops yesterday and now they can work together! They were even more astonished to know they could keep them. It was so awesome to be a part of that kind of gift.” – Charis Vela, CASA of the Coastal Bend Volunteer
