” Every time a foster child is moved to a new home it’s traumatic for them. One of my children had moved several times and the last a long distance away. When I went to visit her she met me with a smile and said “You’re here”.
A foster child needs to feel loved and important.
Being a CASA is a great way to help children that sometimes feel worthless and unwanted.”
– Cindy Dyer, CASA of the Coastal Bend Volunteer
Cindy is a very sweet lady who has been a CASA over 10 years. She is soft spoken and patient with the kids, a voice and patience that children often grow up without in their home.
