Welcome Jonathan to CASA of the Coastal Bend

Hello, I am Jonathan Hubbard, and I am a new Advocate Advisor for CASA of the Coastal Bend. I was born and raised in Cumberland, Maryland, where I developed a deep appreciation for hard work, service, and community. On December 3, 2008, I enlisted in the United States Navy and went on to serve nearly 14 years as a Navy corpsman, providing medical care and support to service members at duty stations including Corpus Christi, Texas; Washington, D.C.; Beaufort, South Carolina; and Sasebo, Japan. I was medically retired on October 27, 2022, concluding a career defined by dedication and compassion.

My family is the center of my life. My wife and I have been married for 17 years, and we are proud parents of four children. After retiring from the military, I returned to school to pursue a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, with plans to transition into human resources management. Inspired to continue serving in a meaningful way, I became a CASA volunteer advocate and have had the privilege of supporting three cases. Advocating for children in need has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my continued commitment to service.

My goal as a supervisor is to connect with more families and have a strong relationship throughout the case. And I believe this is a this the perfect way to give back to the community.
