Your donations support the recruitment, training and long-term support of volunteers who serve our community’s most vulnerable children. The goal of CASA of the Coastal Bend is to serve all children who come through the foster care system in Nueces and Aransas Counties. Sadly, we currently are able to serve only one third of the children in protective care.

It costs $2,300 per year to provide a CASA volunteer to help a child navigate through the foster care system and build lasting family connections.

It costs taxpayers more than $43,000 per year to provide child welfare services for a child in foster care.  

Your donation directly impacts the lives of vulnerable children and helps them to thrive in safe and loving homes.

Gifts to CASA can be a meaningful way to commemorate a loved one or to celebrate a personal milestone while making a difference to children in foster care.

Many companies offer a match for employees’ charitable contributions. This is an easy way for you to double or even triple your gift to CASA. Please contact your Human Resources department for more information.

Gifts of stock are another way to make a difference to children across Texas. Texas CASA accepts gifts of stocks, bonds or mutual funds.

You can leave a legacy to CASA by bequest, or in your trust, or retirement plan.
